Roofing tile glazing and decoration techniques

A wide range of products can be obtained from glazing and decoration techniques for clay roofing tile surfaces. This article describes the glazing and decoration possibilities available via the application of engobe, glazes, powders and granulates. Those methods more frequently utilised such as spraying and coating with a rotary atomiser, including dry decoration techniques on samples are discussed. Futhermore the installation and machinery required for mentioned effects are presented.
