Three kinds of system lead-free powder such as SiO2-B2O3-Bi2O3, SiO2-B2O3-ZnO and SiO2-B2O3-CaO were prepared by melting-quenching in this paper. According to the results of XRD and differential thermal analysis of glass beads, the effects of glass crystallization, vitreous degree and the transition temperature Tg on the properties of copper paste were discussed. In addition, the surface of the copper film morpholopy was observed by SEM, and it validated the analysis above. The results show that the SiO2-B2O3-CaO system lead-free glass powder has the good into glass and suitable transition temperature, the copper paste with this system of glass has good performance.
