Modern society uses traditional ceramic materials in ever increasing quantities, and the changes of raw materials policy, combined with new industrial technologies, are redefining goals and strategies. the use of traditional ceramic products (industrial or artistic) grows and will continue to grow. Innovation of industrial technology, creation of new products and optimization of beneficiation-formulation processing have improved raw materials research, also in assessing quality, properties and behaviour.
