The invention relates to a developer unit for an electrophotographic printing device for printing on glass or ceramic material having a toner supply and a magnetic roll for applying toner to a photoconductor, which is connected to a substrate to be printed, directly or with the interposition of a transfer device. According to the invention, a conditioning medium for transferring the toner acts between the magnetic roll and the photoconductor.
