In previous editions we examined the benefits associated with use of ceramic tile cladding materials which have photocatalytic properties, that chemically reduce the levels of nitrogen oxides created by motor vehicles and manufacturing processes, that cause harm to our environment. Germany?s Agrob Buchatal and Toto from Japan pioneered advances in this technology. More recently Spain?s Ceracasa launched the ir Bionictile a product which moves us one small step closer to the conversion of buildings into trees and cities into forests of tiles.
