The present invention relates to a method for impregnating a porous ceramic carrier material with an active substance, which is used, for example, as a catalyst, fungicide, bleaching agent, adsorption agent, or the like. The finely ground carrier material is dry ground together with an active substance salt. A dry additive separating the active substance based on an aldehyde-containing power is added to the powder mixture thus obtained while continuing to grind.
