FIELD: construction; technological processes.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing block glass-ceramic foamed ceramics. Method involves preparation of a floured glass-ceramic phase with particle size 1-50 mcm, containing production wastes with silicon carbide content of not less than 10 wt%. Method then includes preparation of a floured mixture for making foam blocks with particle size 1-50 mcm and containing a floured glass-ceramic phase in amount of 5-95 wt% and a binding component – balance. Mixture is then used to mould a workpiece with thickness of 15-60 mm in form of large-size tiles, drying to residual moisture content of 0.5 %. Method then includes plastering with double-layer engobe lower and two side surfaces thereof, parallel to movement of roller conveyor. Tiles are dried on roller conveyor without use of moulds and trays are fed into a furnace. In furnace at end of tile sintering zone roller conveyor speed is less by 10-25% compared to it. After foaming at end of furnace bar is subjected to abrupt cooling, an incision is made and after bar exits furnace, said bar is divided into blocks along incision lines with further annealing and mechanical treatment.EFFECT: production of ceramic foam materials with thickness of up to 200 mm with uniformly closed small-pore structure throughout volume of material and improved physical and chemical properties.24 cl, 2 tbl.
