RESUMEN:

The present disclosure is related to the production of ceramic pigments with a nanometric particle size, which are obtained by impregnation of commercially available nanoparticles such as Al2O3, SiO2, TiO2, Fe2O3, which are impregnated with metal compounds soluble in polar or non-polar solvents, in such a way that the elements are combined in the proportion required to result in pre-established colors, which are widely known in the inorganic pigment manufacturing industry. Once the elements are impregnated in the nanometric particles, the appropriate thermal treatment is given to form the crystalline phases required, according to the pigment formulation. This methodology is also applied using nanoparticles that not necessarily are available on a massive scale such as zirconium oxide, tin, vanadium or chromium.
