Utilization of solid wastes in production of unglazed porcelanized stonewate tiles

Fired sanitaryware scrap (FSS) is a big loss value in any procution plan. An attempt to recycle this wsate in porcelain stoneware tile recipes was introduced to substitute sodic feldspar. Six formulations were studied on laboratory scale and on production simulation of tile making process. The obtained results showed thas FSS has a significant effect on the MOR and resistance to deep abrasion of fired tiles.
